Diversing UK and Beeches Consulting have the experience of managing a wide range of IT services for clients over many years. Such contracts include all-encompassing and complex IT service delivery contracts for global organisations to the more simple desktop support contracts for smaller UK based clients.

We are very clear regarding our business focus. It is to provide professionally managed IT services to SME clients. The reasons for this are that SMEs have particular challenges and we are extremely well placed to offer such organisations very clear business benefits at the price that they can afford.

Example Client / Recent Press Release

Career Connect, a Charity helping young people and adults throughout the North West, has outsourced its IT service provision to Diversing UK, the managed services arm of Beeches Consulting. Under the 5 year, £multi-million contract, Career Connect’s employees have transferred to Diversing to provide the service back to Career Connect as well as other customers.

Career Connect awarded the contract to Diversing following many years of successfully working with the consultancy arm of the business. The service includes all aspects of IT management including desktop and datacentre management, application & technical support, server administration, voice, data and call centre support.

Commenting on the contract, David Barlow, Director of Finance & Corporate Services at Career Connect commented, “We were always looking for ways to reduce our costs and had already driven out as much cost as we could sensibly achieve from our IT budgets. We found however that we needed to consider additional ongoing investment in expensive external consultancy to assist us in better exploiting technology across our business. We quickly realised that this could involve us in considerable expense; however our new outsource arrangement gives us access to not only specialist IT service management expertise within Diversing UK but also access to the specialist consulting expertise within their consultancy division, Beeches Consulting, as part of the deal. Having worked successfully with Beeches Consulting for many years, this is a logical expansion of our relationship with them.”

Gary Boni, Managing Director at Diversing UK and Beeches Consulting said, “Today's announcement substantially deepens our relationship with Career Connect, moving beyond our traditional management consulting roots. At Beeches Consulting we have been advising organisations for many years on how to professionally manage and procure IT services as well as how to protect their businesses through professionally implemented and tested Business Continuity (ISO 22301) and Information Security (ISO 27001) plans. We were often asked by our clients to provide Managed IT services for them as well but we weren’t really setup to do that. Diversing UK has now taken that step and intends to build the Diversing brand across our traditional consulting client base as well as with new clients. Previously, when we were assisting SME clients to procure external IT Services, we found that there was a serious gap in the IT services marketplace. Many IT Services companies competing for SME business have not grown up with the depth of IT service management disciplines that we would expect to find often having grown from perhaps ‘server farm’ type organisations or maybe ‘network provision’ type companies. At Diversing we will not only greatly value the skills of the people that have transferred to us but also be exploiting all of the skills of our consultancy arm, Beeches Consulting, that have grown from many years of experience of managing large IT services contracts under formal contract conditions.”

David Barlow added, “We have negotiated an attractive deal with Diversing which we believe will be hugely beneficial not only for ourselves but also to other like-minded not-for-profit organisations. Diversing will share 25% of its profits with its charity based customers on a totally risk-free basis. I firmly believe this is a win for both of our organisations and will also provide enhanced career opportunities for the employees that have transferred across. The staff transferring were both attracted and excited by the opportunities this partnership offers them. We are very reassured that the ICT side of the business is in safe hands, which means we can concentrate on the frontline delivery of services – focusing on what we do best - inspiring young people and adults to make the most of their career opportunities.”.
