International Real Estate
Beeches Consulting managed the project for this client to achieve ISO 22301 certification for its UK operations from a position where there was little in the way of meaningful Business Continuity plans already in place. The client had this to say about the project:-
“As one of the UK’s leading real estate advisors and part of a global organisation, we needed to satisfy best practice by upgrading our business continuity plans. This included undertaking a programme to achieve ISO22301 certification for all of our UK businesses (approximately 850 employees, 11 offices) as quickly as possible. Beeches Consulting were selected to help us and they drove the whole programme from beginning to end, interfacing with the ISO Auditors for us too. With their hands-on input we achieved the ISO certification on the first assessment and in about half the time that might be expected considering the work involved. Beeches Consulting were excellent in adapting and flexing to meet the needs of our organisation and we have now retained them for other work also. I have no hesitation in recommending Beeches Consulting to others.”
Paul Vockins, Director, Colliers International
Beeches Consulting were further retained to provide ongoing support and improvement to the Management System and also the implementation of ISO27001. On a recent external UKAS accredited audit, no findings were identified.Learn More
Beeches Consulting implemented Business Continuity plans for a national charity covering 24 UK sites and multiple site call centres that provide critical services to customers 24 hours per day, 365 days per annum.
The project ensured the ‘buy-in' of the senior management team across a complex organisation and was implemented quickly as nothing effective had been previously implemented. Beeches Consulting was praised for its efforts and for ensuring that the plans were easy to follow and understood by all of those involved.
Beeches Consulting implemented Business Continuity plans with this major London hospital and within a month of us finishing the project (having rehearsed major failures with the management team), the hospital had a total power outage, then a generator failure and then a backup generator failure. The hospital and the ICU were left totally without power. The management team confidently implemented the BCP, redirecting blue light services and recovering the situation within the ICU promptly. The CEO commended Beeches Consulting afterwards for how smoothly such a disastrous event was handled in such a life or death situation.Learn More
Beeches Consulting recently implemented an Information Security Management System for a large world-wide organisation which then successfully certified to ISO 27001 on the first attempt.
It was a challenging project as little of the usual disciplines were in place, a major breach of information confidentiality had been experienced and surprisingly, even having experienced a serious breach, what information assets the organisation had weren’t readily identifiable. Convincing certain geographies of the need for implementing a framework was also, at times, quite a challenge. Beeches Consulting led the internal project for the client, facilitated the cooperation across globally diverse business units and the project was completed over a 6 – 9 month period. Beeches Consulting was commended by the company CEO for its work.

Financial Services (Wealth Management)
Beeches Consulting assisted this leading wealth management services provider to review its IT DR requirements and the capabilities and operations of its incumbent 3rd party IT service provision. The review resulted in a revised IT and IT DR services requirement to be achieved via a formal procurement process. Beeches Consulting led the project on behalf of the client. The project involved working with the in-house IT team and other stakeholders to define the tender specification and process, drawing up a long-list of vendors and eventual selection of a preferred vendor via a combination of RFP responses and vendor presentations. Beeches Consulting was retained to oversee the project implementation. The project delivered enhanced resilience to meet stringent regulatory requirements as well as financial and operational benefits.Learn More
Global Financial Services
This client needed to rapidly select an off-shore services provider to rescue a major in-house IT development project that needed rapid completion as well as cost reduction due to significant overrun costs.
Beeches Consulting led the whole process, developed the RFP and managed the supplier evaluation & selection process prior to negotiating the contract and providing over-sight on the implementation project which required the rapid deployment of large numbers of IT development and support staff. Following the successful implementation, Beeches Consulting was then selected to negotiate a contract for the support and maintenance of the completed system. In all, over 100 supplier staff were engaged on the client site and many more off-shore to deliver the program successfully (and at reduced cost).Learn More

This client was looking to outsource all of its operational IT to an external service provider to ensure that it had the best possible service for the lowest cost. This also involved the objective of avoiding the anticipated capital costs required to ensure the same level of service in-house. The contract included a cloud computing implementation utilising virtual servers in a secure environment.
Beeches Consulting drafted the RFI / RFP documentation and managed the whole process from first supplier meeting, through supplier selection to contract signature and beyond. Beeches Consulting was also retained to assist with the ongoing management of the supplier and to support the development and implementation of ITIL aligned processes.Learn More
