BS25999 Alignment
The introduction of BS25999 and the expected take-up of certification within the supply chain will mean that companies may well need to implement Business Continuity plans much quicker than expected or else face losing business to their competitors.
However, it may be that simply appraising your customers and stakeholders with how your continuity arrangements are aligned to BS25999 is sufficient peace of mind for both you and them until such time as you are able to devote the requisite time and skills to achieving certification.
We have developed a simple proprietary approach to assessing and aligning your business continuity arrangements to the BS25999 standard. We call it the Capability Maturity Framework, or CMF for short.
